Hello all!

I am working with PHP scripts to read, write, update, etc. data from databases. I would like to use ODBC to connect to the databases, thus I have already downloaded the ODBC manager from Apple. I would really like to access databases created using MS Access, Excel, or even a CSV file (or ANY other file created with a FREE APPLICATION).

My question is...do drivers even exist that are made for Mac that allow me full access to Access and Excel (or even CSV? surely CSV!). Even another (hopefully free) type of database would be great. Please let me know your advise!

Also, if you have a different, better way of doing things, please let me know!

(If you can't tell, I'm relatively new to databases and all....)
Thanks in advance!
