Hi All,
Over the past few days, every time I restart my iMac (latest revision--27' fully updated), an odd error message is thrown up. It says;
"The disk you inserted was not readable by this computer."
The box below gives you three options (initialize, eject...and one other which escapes me at the moment).
Thing is--there's no disk in the drive, the message disappears after a minute, and disk utility says that my disks appear to be fine. Other than this issue, my machine appears fine (apart from a propensity to crash playing WoW--strangely, after one such occurrence this message started appearing).
Anyway, I'm at a loss--anyone got any ideas what's causing this and, indeed, what it is?
Cheers!
Eoin
