When I replaced my ODD with a SSD I kinda screwed up the thermal sensor
and as a result the ODD fan runs at full pelt. I tried to short it by twisting the wires together but that didn't work so....I disconnected my ODD fan but i'm assuming this also cools the GPU is not a long term or maybe even short term solution.
So is there soem software that controls the ODD maximum level like HDD fan control does with the HDD Fan? or can anyone point me in the direction of where I may be able to get a ODD Thermal sensor from for a late 2009 i7 ?
