Hi all,

I have just returned from Stockholm and have noticed the 'phone and arrow' icon (see attached - top left of the display). Wondering if anyone knows what it means, if it costs me and how I find what's causing it.

Cheers,

Josh

My friend, I believe that is the call forwarding icon. Go into your settings and see if you've inadvertently enabled it. If not, you might want to call your provider and ask what they show. I know there is a number you can dial to enable/disable it as well (w/ ATT anyways), so maybe google those numbers for provider.

and page 173:

Call Forwarding
You can set iPhone to forward incoming calls to another number. For example, you may be on vacation and want all calls to go somewhere else. If you’re going to an area with no cellular coverage, you may want to forward calls to a place where you can be reached.
Set iPhone to forward your calls:
1 Choose Phone > Call Forwarding and turn Call Forwarding on. 2 On the “Forward to” screen, enter the phone number you want calls forwarded to.
When Call Forwarding is on, 'the icon you meant' appears in the status bar at the top of the screen. You must be in range of the cellular network when you set iPhone to forward calls, or calls won’t be forwarded.

Cheers guys,

Must have been a glitch...I loaded the 'call forwarding' menu in settings and the icon just disappeared - I'd been receiving calls, so couldn't have been activated...

Thanks for the help.
