Odd issue regarding text.

All the "a"'s and "e"'s on my system are showing up with a black line except when that object is highlighted. It's not on any menu, it seems to only be in certain areas, like the Finder and windows titles.

It can be seen here:

HOWEVER, in some areas it doesn't show up at all such as here:

ALSO, I noticed it showed up randomly on Facebook:

And sometimes on other websites, but not on MacRumors. What's the issue here?

First, I'd try restarting your computer, to see if it clears up. If not, check Font Book to see if you have any corrupt fonts.

You da man GGJ. Restart fixed it all fine, but now i'm curious, what caused it in the first place.

Maybe some graphics hiccup. I wouldn't worry unless it happens again and a restart doesn't clear it up.
