Odd MacOS 7.6 CD question

I picked up this CD recently because it looked odd. I have seen a few MacOS 8.0 CDs with this label design but it does not not look to be a UMAX, StarMax or other clone edition - at least nothing on the CD seems to indicate as such. The regular 7.6 CD looks similar to the regular black on white 8.0 CD.

I have mostly seen this sort of design in Germany, where I got this CD but it is a UK English release, which seems to indicate that it may not be a Germany-only thing.

Does anyone know anything about it?
