Odd Noise from Apple Watch

Hey guys have any of you gotten the same problem where a screeching static noise came from the Apple Watch? My wife was using her watch earlier this afternoon and got the problem. I captured it in a Youtube video:

At first I thought it was water damage, but after we restarted the watch it was back to normal, go figure, lol.

Never heard that sound on my watch. If it begins happening again, I would bring it in or call Apple care.

Yeah I was shocked to hear it- I've had my 42mm for the same time she has had her 38mm and never had such an issue. I really thought it was water damage because a lot of times she washes dishes with it on, but after a restart, it was back to normal.

Sounds like your haptic engine is failing. Happened to me, apple replaced it.

Certain watches were shipped with a sound chip from Samsung and they are prone to glitches. My first watch had one so i took it back to the store and asked for a watch with an ASUS chip.
