So, I have a quite unusual problem that I've never heard of before. I have an iPhone 4 with iOS 5.1. This is a launch iPhone 4 from back in July 2010.
For some reason, which I cannot reproduce willingly, apps seem to attempt to re-download and re-install for a split second, then go back to their usual installed icon.
It's difficult to explain, but it happens to multiple apps at the same time. It usually occurs when I exit an app and attempt to start another, or when I start an app after unlocking my phone.
It only shows the download/install progress bar for about 1-2 seconds and goes away, restoring the app to its usual functions.
It's obscure, it's odd and I have never heard of it. All apps on my phone were purchased using the same apple ID. All purchases are legit (never been jail broken).
I'm pretty sure the only solution would be to restore the phone and start fresh by re-installing all apps. I'm just wondering if anyone else has experienced anything similar to this.
DETAILS OF PHOTO: As you can see, sparrow is performing what I described above in the bottom right corner of the screenshot. This is just one app, after about a second several others on my home page started doing the same thing. They all went back to normal after a few seconds. And yes, Sparrow is up to date, so that is not the issue here.
Before anyone asks, the link to the wallpaper I made: http://s1144.photobucket.com/albums/o489/Enviii/iPhone Color Bar Wallpapers/
