The poor section of Connecticut
I am running 10.2.8. I was looking through the process listings in my Process Viewer because my apps kept freezing on me and I wanted to see what was causing it. I saw a rather odd process. For the name there was a "0" that quickly changed to a symbol that looked like this "~" only vertical. It then quickly changed to a "0" again. For the % of CPU it said 430. For % of memory it said 340. Then all of a sudden it disappeared. After that my iBook ran fine, no app-freezing. What on earth is this? Is it something I should be concerned about or is this normal?
P.S. I also forgot...for "user" it said "???".

The Jagwire™ Process viewer was broken like that. Maybe try top next time (i there is a next time) to see if you can get an ungarbled reading? If the entry hangs around long enough that you can see the PID (assuming you get a real one listed), maybe you can find it under another name before it quits.

Lots of stuff can hang 10.2 like that, iSync was a "favorite" here.
