Odd quirk in the weather app Rainfall/Precipitation

Anyone notice that the stock weather app sometimes says "Rainfall" and sometimes says "Precipitation" when you click into the details? Seems odd and I can't find a pattern as to when it shows which one and was wondering if anyone else noticed.

RA is rain & precep
SN snow, and a form of precep
BR mist and a form of precep


windy is a better app for this stuff
