Trying to figure out how this happened: My wife dropped her iphone in a toilet and suffice it to say it was immediately bagged up and thrown away. Was not operating anymore at that point. She had a backup on iTunes via the last wifi-sync she did. But she DID NOT have iCloud set up, DID NOT have photostream, and NO iCloud backup. I've confirmed that both of our phones are set up this way still.

So, she went to AT&T and bought a new iPhone. When the guy was setting it up, her camera roll restored onto it! From the store! Her laptop was back at home. How exactly did this happen? When she synced back at home after that, iPhoto grabbed those photos as they were new to it. But how did they get on her brand new phone in the first place? The ONLY THING turned on in iCloud is "Find my phone".

Any ideas?
