I've recently installed and started using Mavericks Server (on a new Mac Mini) to provide network services to my home network (DHCP and DNS for now, more as I learn more). While I've managed to muddle my way through most of the learning-curve issues encountered along the way there's one that I cannot sort out. Most times when I click on the red ball at the top-left corner of the Server window to exit it does so without comment and the app stays active as noted on it's dock icon. Some times, and I think this is when I've modified something, I get the pop-up window for saving that says 'Do you want to save the changes made to the document "Server"?'. If I click on Save, it goes through the motions of saving something called Server, but the red exit ball retains it's dark center and I cannot find that anything was actually saved. If I click to exit again, I get the same run-around. It's not until I click on Don't Save that the Server exits. In this case, the app does not stay active (as indicated in the Dock). All changes I had made were still there when I restart the Server.

What's going on here? I'm running 10.9.2 and Server 3.1.1.
