Odd small blue stain on back of the new iPad

Hey MacRumors. I just bought the new iPad on Friday and since my cover and protector are both flying in Tuesday I left the plastic wrap on the screen. I noticed a small blue stain on the back of the iPad but wasn't sure if that was attributable to the slight distortion that the plastic creates or on the surface, and as a perfectionist I yearned for the former. As I had to recharge the iPad after semi-avid weekend use I decided to take off the wrap 10 minutes ago, and my worst fear was confirmed! End of the world, I know :) but it's there, and I don't know why. Here's a picture, almost invisible against hard light.

Theories?
 
Can we have a darker more blurry picture please? That one's not nearly blurry or dark enough.
