Hi there, I'm usually pretty good at solving these kinds of things, but this happened out of the blue a few days ago. All this little pink, green, and red squares pop up every now and then. I have no idea what or what I can do to get rid of them. Here's a link to a few photos showing what I mean. Thanks a lot for any help!

This is a video problem and could be a hardware issue, but before you panic, do the following:

1. PMU/SMU/SMC reset (one of them apply since I don't know what Mac you have)
2. PRAM reset
3. Safe Boot, then a normal boot. Give the Safe Boot time, it takes much longer than a regular boot.

This should do a lot of hardware resets as well as clearing your PRAM and hardware caches.

If you still have the issue after all of this, time to call Apple.
