I've got an unlocked original iPhone. Jailbroken, running 2.2.1 baseband 04.05.04_G

I live in South Dakota where neither AT&T nor T-Mobile sell service, so I'm on Long Lines wireless, a local GSM service provider.

The problem I'm running into is that incoming phone calls never go to voice mail. I used to have a land line, which I've since had disconnected, for some reason, whenever I would not answer the phone, the iPhone would forward over to this number. Now that the land line is disconnected, if I don't answer, my caller simply hears that the line has been disconnected.

I do not have forwarding enabled in settings on my iPhone. I never even knew there was a forwarding option until I figured out what the voicemail problem was. I've since tried setting forwarding to Long Lines' voicemail number, the problem there is that calls avoid my handset entirely and go straight to that number.

Anyone have any clues, any setting I might've missed? Or do I need to SSH in and change something. I'm clueless.
