Normally I'm not a stickler for a few percent up or a few percent down in the calorie calculations, but today's workout showed a 38.24% drop in active calories burned compared to the average of the last two weeks of near-identical workouts (pace, heart rate, weather, etc). I haven't changed anything like the tightness or looseness of my watch. Height, weight, gender, age haven't been updated recently. I can't figure out why this workout was almost 40% lower in active calories than it should be. It seems way out of whack. In the seven years I've been using an Apple Watch I've never seen such a massive fluctuation in the active calorie calculation.

Has anyone else experienced this?

I don’t know if it’s the same thing, but my latest two 15 minute walks have not registered a single exercise minute.

However, this has only happened since having my new iPhone 17 Pro Max paired with my existing Apple Watch ultra 2. May not be connected, but just wanted to post in case it is.

Same for me.

I haven't noticed missing minutes of exercise, but I have noticed some missing hours on the Stand ring, and of course the bad calorie calculation from the OP.

I did a restart on both devices yesterday morning, and the afternoon workout calculated close to normal.
