Okay, deciding to show how eclectic my tastes in music are, I decided to choose the oddest pair of songs that I could dig off my iPod :D.

"Ich Rap Nicht Mehr" from the Big Up Berlin rap collection (german rap album) versus "Bach: Goldberg Variations Aria with 30 Variations, BWV 988: Variation 1" performed by Julian Rachlin, Mischa Minsky, etc.

what's the oddest pair of songs that you have on your itunes or ipod? :D

I have a small handful:

Synergy's dreamy "Falcons and Eagles"
versus
Apoptygma Berzerk's self-explanatory "Non Stop Violence"

or

Mannheim Steamroller's ubiquitous Christmas standard "Deck The Halls"
versus
Limp Bizkit's loud, angry grindfest "Break Stuff"

or

Japanese pop artist KOTOKO's trance anthem "Re-Sublimity"
versus
Canadian group Skinny Puppy's politically charged sonic assault "Testure"

or

The Indian raga vibe behind Talvin Singh's "Jaan"
versus
The American boy-band vibe behind South Korean vocal group H.O.T.'s "We Are The Future"

(I must admit that there is a single common thread through all of these, with the notable exception of Limp Bizkit: the prominent use of electronic instruments. I'm a synth freak. Go figure.)
