Hello,

I'm looking at buying a Western Digital OEM hard drive to use with a new enclosure. Will the OEM drive come with everything I need to install it in my enclosure, or is there a cable I will need to purchase?

If you need details, I am looking at the Western Digital 250GB SATA-300 Hard Drive on Tigerdirect http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=2179837&sku=TSD-250KS . I'd use it with an Ultra USB/Firewire enclosure.

The $50 of rebates expire tonight, so any quick advice will be appreciated. Thanks in advance!

I have made 4 externals in the past and in all cases the case came with the correct connector to attach to the drive.

So assuming that the case is the correct one for the drive e.g. Sata then it should be fine.
