# of computers limit?

I have a bit of a problem as I have a couple of desktop Mac's, and a handful of Apple laptops that I want to sign in with my iCloud account, but I think I've hit a limit and it won't let me sign in to one of the laptops I just rebuilt. I thought I read somewhere there was a 5 device limit, but can't find it. Is 5 the limit?

Definitely 5 devices with iTunes. That much I do know!
