# of Pins on RAM for PowerbookG4?

I am in need of a Ram boost for the powerbookG4. I currently have 512Mb (2x256's) and I am wanting to upgrade to 1.2GB (1x1GB, 1x256MB). I know the kind of ram needed is PC2700 DDR333 SODIMM.

The thing is that I am living in S.Korea and I have been searching around here for ram. They make tons of ram here (Samsung, etc..) and its cheaper for the most part too. However most of the ram is for PCs.. they haven't really caught on to the mac experience yet and don't really know what will work for me.

So, I found a lot of 1GB PC2700 DDR333 SODIMMs but some have 184pin and few have 200pins. I beleive I have 200pin sticks now, but I want to know if I can use the 184pin, which are much cheaper than the 200pin.
Thoughts? Suggestions?

just for your information, the RAM with 184 pins shouldn't have been called SO-DIMM, because it isn't.
