I hear some say to stick with apple branded cables and power adapters. They say you can’t trust off branded stuff. It might hurt your battery. Despite the off brand adapters being smaller and pack more power and have more ports…

So how does apple decide which wattage to output from its adapters? Why so low by default? Heat isn’t it…

Makes no sense for a 3 trillion dollar company to make bulkier and weaker accessories and charge twice as much

Any claim by “them” should be presented with facts. If “them” saying something influences you without that, well… 🤓
And then there is of course convinience and a degree of certainty - you use an Apple device, for sure the Apple accessories will work with it; you don’t have to bother about e.g. total power supply overload due to insufficient power, or to burnout your device due to poor quality components.

On “how” certain decisions are made by Apple - you probably better adress this directly to Apple - either to engineering or business team (members).

??? Is this an attempt to formulate an oxymoron? 👍 Otherwise your sentence doesn’t make much “sense”, doesn’t it? 😃
