Off-brand Universal iPod dock from eBay

Has anyone tried one of these? It looks very similar to the Apple Universal Dock, and is of course substantially cheaper. All I care is that I can fit my 2G nano's universal adapter into it and control it with my Apple remote. It appears that is the case, but I'm wondering if anyone has any personal experience with this model. It's all over eBay.

I've had good luck with off-brand iPod accessories.

If you want to get a cheap dock, why not spend a few dollars more and get a cheap remote?

Nah, I already have two Apple remotes. I'll just use those. But thanks!
