I'm going to give an off site backup service a try as they offer 2gigs for free. My intent is just to use it for my picture library. This along with Time Machine will give me a good piece of mind.

Can someone tell me which folder would be the one that houses the pictures for backup purposes, and I do use iPhoto. Thanks!

should be under your home folder in the Picutres/iPhoto folder.

Look and see what you see.

You should realize that you have originals, and modified items all in that iPhoto folder, so if you are only wanting to backup Modified pictures, make sure to dig deeper.

It's not really a good idea to go digging around in the iPhoto folders. You can do all sorts of damage to iPhoto. Just export from iPhoto to a folder in Finder and then upload that to your online storage.
