office 08 and audio recording

so i was using word and was playing in notebook mode.
i did a recording and can play it back,
but where is the file?

it didnt ask anything about where i wanted to save or whatnot.
and i dont know what its named.

is it not exported? just attached to my wordfile?
can i erase it?

nvm i found a delete option under tools i think.
