I had to upgrade my PC laptop as it was becoming too slow for my larger Excel files.

As the price of the required new PC Laptop and the MacBook was the same I bought the MacBook. The idea being to get the advantage of the Mac OS and get away from window's continuos security issues. Must say I immediately liked the MacBook.

Then installed Office 2008 for Mac and to my horror Excel was extremely slow in fact terrible. Checking on Internet I found that a slow Excel was an major issue.

Last night I purchased Office 11 for Mac online and ta da da Excel runs beautifully and fast. :D

I also saw all sorts of obscure reports of some irrelevant issues on the new Office 11 suite but in my opinion Office 11 for Mac is a great improvement on the 2008 version:rolleyes:
