Office 12.1.2 Update Error

I have tried to update my office 2008 and am getting this error message (see photo). I have cancelled the installer and now whenever I try to open Word it is failing. Anyone have same problem / know how to fix this?

Have you done anything to your Office installation, such as moving it to a different folder or running an app like Monolingual or Xslimmer?

You need to install all the previous updates (12.1.0, 12.1.1 I think, it's been a while since I've had to use Office) first, you can't just jump to the latest update.

I'm having this same problem and yes Nadyne, I have previously run Monolingual. Is there a workaround for this or will this update require an Office reinstallation?

Sorry, you're going to have to reinstall Office and then apply the updates (12.1, then 12.1.1, then 12.1.2).
