Office 2004/Excel/Can't Open File Now

I was previously using Excel with no problems, then installed updates Tuesday, now can't open .xls file last used Monday? Whatz up with this?

Exactly same problem!!

I am a teacher - report cards are in excel 2004 - update installed on Weds and now my report card excel file opens then quickly closes and does not register in window. HELP!!

Had the same issue with Excel.

Update --> Excel status

11.6.0 --> Worked.

11.6.1 --> Broke.

11.6.2 --> Works.
