This is a really annoying issue - I am using office 2004 for the Mac and when I copy an issue from the web (any regular JPEG image) onto Word and then send it via email to a friend with the PC version of Office, they can't see the image in Word! All they see is "Quicktime and a decompressor are needed to view this image" - is there an update for office 2004 to fix this?

I think I've had this problem before. Are you dragging the image into Word? In my experience I would have this type of missing image problem whenever I dragged and dropped images into Word. The workaround was to go up to Insert and then down to picture or image (don't remember what it's called) from within Word and then select the image you want to embed in the document.
