Office 2004 Student and Teacher Edition

Has anyone that is not a student or teacher had problems using Office 2004 student/teacher edition?

You don't have to provide proof to register the software do you? Is it simply a moral dilemma?

It's a morals dilemma. Here are the license requirements.

That being said, I own Office 2004 already. I plan on buying the Student and Teacher edition today (comes with a $100 rebate today only)which also qualifies me to buy Office 2008 for 7 bucks. I'm OK with it because I own Office already and will give the license to my niece.

I did the same thing. I just installed office 2004, but I can't seem to find any way to update the software to the latest version.

any suggestions? I can't believe there are no updates out there....lol

Under the Help menu of any of the apps, click "Check for Updates." Install whatever it finds, and then repeat until it doesn't find any more updates.
