I am helping a friend install Office 2008 on an older G5 running Office 2004 and a new Macbook Pro.
I will not be upgrading the Office 2004, just creating a new installtion, however I want to import her Entourage Data both to Office 2008 on the older desktop and onto her new Macbook Pro.
I don't use Office, so had to figure things out when I did an Erase and Install of Leopard for her a few months back.
So any advice or process to follow would be most appreciated.
What I intend to do is as follows:
Clean up the Entourage Database
Export her contacts
Back up the database
Empty Deleted Mail File
Install Office 2008
Copy MUD Folder from Office 2004 into Office 2008
For the new Mackbook Pro
Install Office 2008
Copy MUD folder from desktop to the laptop
Finally, how do people sync their Entourage information between 2 computers?
