Hi
Has anyone with a new iMac with its version of 10.6.2 (i believe it a little special) installed Office 2008 for Mac and managed to get update 12.1.0 to install ? I get probably half way through install when it is "running package scripts" and then it skips straight on through to "Installation Failed" with no reason given. I have it installed with update 12.2.1 on my MacBook Pro running 10.6.2 but I did the updates before the upgrade to 10.6.2. Can someone tell me where to start looking for error messages ?

TIA

i dont have the new imac but my early 2009 imac wouldnt install the latest office update. A simple restart sorted it out.

I have been round that loop a number of times and no luck. I have installed it no problem on my MacBook Pro but I think that was before the 10.6.2 update.

Any idea where error messages might be going ?

same problem, no solution

I bought the new imac 10.6.2
installing office is no problem, them it appears as if de update for office is done and in the end it doesn't show in the list.
