Office 2008 Won't Launch

None of the applications will open. This is the error message that I see in Console:
LookupFunction: Could not lookup symbol OTAtomicAdd32 in library /System/Library/PrivateFrameworks/OpenTransport.framework/OpenTransport

I deleted 2 preference files but that didn't help...now this is the error message:
Microsoft Office Setup Assistant218 Unable to load nib file: MainMenu, exiting

I am running the latest version of Office and 10.4 on a Dual 1G PowerPC G4. I have verified the disc and repaired permissions.

I would recommend uninstalling the program and then reinstall it. If its a corrupted file, that should fix it.
