I purchased Academic Office 2004 during the window where you can get the free upgrade to the multimedia edition 2008. I sent in my information weeks ago and have not heard anything. Does anyone have any contact information? Has anyone received their upgrade?

Thanks

I submitted my order online back in January and mailed in the materials on February 11th. My order status online has yet to change from "Order Submitted." I called a week and a half ago and was told that they had a big backlog and that it would be a couple of weeks. I sent an email to Microsoft this past Monday for an update and it took them three days to respond. Here is what they had to say:

Thank you for your e-mail.

Your order is currently in "pending" status while we await the receipt and/or processing of your proof of purchase materials (product box top and sales receipt). If you have already sent the required materials, note that it can take 4 weeks or more to process them once received, due to the high volume of requests sent to our Buffalo facility. Beyond 4 weeks, you may wish to check any tracking information that may be available for your shipment to us.

If you have not already mailed your proofs of purchase, you would have missed the February 14th postmark deadline for the Super Suite Deal. However, you might still wish to participate in a similar offer, the Office 2008 Technology Guarantee:

Thank you for contacting Microsoft.
