Office 2008??

I have heard that office 2008 is very glitchy and crashes often, but i am using a trial of 2004 at the moment and was thinking of getting office for my mac. is office really that glitchy, or are these people running old machines (I'm running brand new top of the line macbook. If 2008 really does suck, how would i be able to get my hands on 2004 version?

i'm sure you could find a version of 2004 on ebay or some-such without too much hassle. it'll run slow though due to being run in rosetta (emulation of ppc code)

2008 is intel native, but it has its own issues. none of which i've found to be too horrible. again, YMMV, but i think more people are 'ok' with 2008 than not.
