Office 2011 for Mac

Hi, there is a critical update of Microsoft Office 2011 for Mac which cannot be installed in my MacBook (late 2008). In fact it performs the download process and it automatically starts checking for updates again. It is like going to an endless loop. Can anybody help please? Thanks

Have you tried restarting your Mac?

Try downloading/installing it manually.
