Hi all,

In Windows, I am used to having full control of my installations, such as which fonts and applications and helper tools to install.

I just got a new copy of MS Office for my Air, and I was wondering if there is a trick to installing only the parts I want.

I already tried installing and then deleting the apps I don't need on the Air, but unfortunately, this means that software update breaks because it is missing things it thinks should be there.

Any ideas, tricks?

In my case, I just want to keep Word and Excel on my Air.

Thanks.

P.S. I am finally starting to get used to Lion :)

You actually can choose what you want to install.

Since I already had office installed its showing "upgrade" but you have the same options by hitting the customize button on the installation type.
