Hey there,

I purchased Office 2008 Student edition a month or so ago that included three licenses. I applied for my upgrade via the Microsoft website and it was finally approved today. They, however, only provided me with one license key! I have looked through the forums and Office FAQs regarding whether or not this is the key for ONE user (who can apparently use it on two machines) or if this is supposed to be the key for all three users. I cannot find a straight answer. This doesn't seem right to me that this single key would work for 3 users on a total of 6 Macs? The upgrade I downloaded is the Home and Student 2011 – Family Pack, so it should contain three keys I would think.

Anyway, if anyone has any insight, I would be glad to hear.

It works ... the one key gives you the family pack.

I just downloaded it the other day ... you should be good to go
