How do I set up in Office 2011 to be able to see the progress of my Outlook mail sending and receiving all the time.

Thanks

Yes, I amusing outlook. What I want is an indication of email sending and receiving. My old copy 2007 had a little bare on the bottom indication that mail was being sent and receiving. The only way to see this info now is to click "window, then progress". I would like this to be a permanent indicator while reading my email.

In the bottom right of the Outlook window you'll see mail as it's downloading.

Otherwise you'll see something like All folders are up to date. Connected to....

You can also keep the Progress window tucked behind the main window with just a small porting showing so you can easily see mail as it downloads.
