So, I have Office 365 Professional Plus on Mac downloaded via my university website. I have the new mbp with touchbar and would much like to use the touchbar feature whilst using word.

I believe the touchbar feature comes to life when in focus mode/view on Microsoft Word. I have tried to enable focus mode on Word, but their is no option for it whatsoever. I tried looking under view modes etc - it's just not present.

I am running version 15.28 of Microsoft Word for Mac and the Licence shows as: 365 Subscription.

You are trying to use a feature that is not yet available.
Oh so no one with Microsoft Word (Office 365) has this feature yet? Because I have seen a few videos on youtube showing Microsoft word in focus mode and use of the touchbar...
