I have been thinking about getting office for my macbook so have downloaded the 30day trial to see how I get on.

I have come across a strange feature that has been getting on my nerves.

When I have a document open and I just exit the programme the next time I open it up my document automatically opens as well.

This does not happen if I close my document before exiting the programme.

This happens in all of the packages and I can't figure out how to turn it off and I have have searched through all the menu options and on google. Is this a feature of Lion or am I missing something?

Yeah, it's a feature of Lion, you can disable it in System Preferences and then General (I believe that's where it is, I'm running Snow Leopard on all of my Macs right now, so I can't double check).
