Office:Mac 2008 - In my possession

I ordered this package from Future Shop last week and it arrived today. I thought this wasn't supposed to be released until Jan 15th? Anyone else have any confirmation on this. Am I the first or one of the first?

Now I'm not big on the new Office software and I don't expect this to be front page news but I know there are curious parties out there that want the first peek at it (if they haven't already got it.) So I'll include screen caps and window caps from my installation for your viewing pleasure. If there is anything anyone wants to know let me know and I'll do what I can to answer.

I don't know how much has already been released to the public as far as screen images or beta versions. So I won't overload the forum with pics of everything unless someone asks.

I found it interesting that during my install it made me remove my previous Microsoft Office 2004.

I still don't know why Microsoft are screwing over developers like this. They've changed to a different development model (ie. no VBA), have not given prerelease copies to developers, and are now saying that we need to wait until February if we don't want to buy at retail. It sounds like they're deliberately trying to discourage development.

Edit: Where *are* my manners? Congratulations on getting it, let's hope it's an improvement over 2004.
