You run all the Office updates? Office 2011 isn't blurry at all on mine.

Are you running at a scaled resolution?

Too much to drink.

After running updates on office 2011, your apps should be retina. Note this only applies to Office 2011, and not Office 2008 (please check you are running 2011 first).

To update 2011 to retina:

  1. Open any of the office products (e.g. Word)
  2. In the menubar, click 'Help'
  3. Click 'Check for Updates'
  4. That will pop open Microsoft AutoUpdater. Click 'Check for Updates'
  5. Run all updates
  6. Restart just to make sure

If that doesn't update the apps to retina, check out this post:

Let me know if that fixes the issue.
