Whenever I try to open Office on my MBP the icon will bounce once in the dock and then disappear. I understand that Office isn't a Universal app, but it is my understanding that I should be able to open it regardless. Also, I can't seem to make it run under Rosetta, by clicking "get info" and then selecting "open with rosetta" or something like that because it doesn't appear. Any ideas?

Did you already use up the time limit for it? (I've never used the trial, so I don't know how it works.)

no, i have never opened it before. It also happens to apps such as real player and bittorrent. It seems like the computer can't open it.

If an app is PPC binary, "Get Info" window should not have an "Open under Rosetta" option. BTW, RealPlayer works fine for me on my intel iMac. Before the rtial period ended, Office was working OK as well.
