Office Update?

I heard there was an update for Microsoft Office 2008 already (or rather an update for the updater), but I have no clue how I am supposed to get it. I am really in need of a little guidance here- you guys are my last hope!

I have already used spotlight to try and find "AutoUpdater" and there are no results! What am I doing wrong ?!

Open an Office app->Help->Check for Updates

Kinda makes you feel stupid doesn't it? Well, don't. I must have spent 15 minutes looking for the MS Office updater (which was a separate app in Office04) before just opening Word and the autoupdater launched. And I know of at least 2 other people who did the same thing.

I'm keeping 08 on a separate computer because the current incarnation is absolutely worthless for my needs. I'll stick with 04 until MS finally releases the functional version of Office and not this piece of doodoo beta that they sold me.
