While I'm not promoting anyone ripping off Microsoft of their hard earned and richly deserved money
you have to be careful with installing multiple copies of the same software. Office v.X doesn't require activation like on PCs, but if you are on a network trying to run the same copy on multiple machines Office will look out on the network and prevent the second copy opened from running.
