Installed Panther on an upgraded G4, installed Office X update, installed all office x patches. All was working fine for a few days. Word will unexpectedly quit when you choose file print and then click on the print button. If you click on the printer icon in the word toolbar everything is fine. This now happens in Excel as well, and has now started doing the same thing in Quark. In Quark 6 after the print dialog box is open, if I click on Printer...Quark quits. I've deleted and repaired all print queues, repaired file permissions, turned off all but the necessary fonts with Font Book. Could this be a corrupt font in the cache?
I'm pretty savvy when it comes to troubleshooting...but now, with Panther, I can't go it alone. All suggestions welcome:confused:
