Being that the newest version for Mac is Microsoft Office 2004...I guess it's alright? Still the same as it has been the past 4 years?
Depends what you mean by new. Office for Mac 2007 is still under development. The latest version available in stores is Office:Mac 2004. It runs under Rosetta, so it is a bit slow if you use it on an Intel Mac.
MS Office 2008 for Mac is supposedly due in January due to MS having problems with their new .xml format.
