So - new years already in progress (still 8 hours away for me at the moment) - who's made resolutions?

I'm gonna lose weight (50 pounds is reasonable for me).

Save cash for a trip across the globe. (Japan, Brazil, Norway or New Zealand - just one of em, I'm not rich)

How about ya'll?

Edit: Scratch the IRA - that's too easy - I wanna get back into flying. So that's resolution #3.

50 isn't a lot for some of us here, bud. Trust me.

I don't believe in 'em -- any time is the right time to make a chance in your life that you want to make.

Not much really. I cut back on exercise last year because it was final year in university and had my game to finish. But now I've pushed that back to late 2008/2009 I'm taking things a little slower this year. Going to get back hiking again, a good friend has just moved back around here so that'll be all good.

No resolutions as such. Just to do more outside of work :)

Loose weight
Save for a Mac Pro or iMac
Do brain training for the DS twice a day! Having the brain of a 80 year old isn't the greatest thing to be told.

1. Get Straight A's in school, again
2. Reach 1000 posts here on MR.:D
3. Get a girlfriend
4. Start Drivers ED
5. Run 600miles over summer break
6. Save up enough to buy a ipod touch

Will post more in time...

Go skydiving.
Get full licence.
Survive another year.
Maybe also black water rafting

Same as last year-to do well in my exams amongst other things. Came true last year too :)

I'm going to make a renewed effort to go to the Gym. I used to go 5 times per week but that has slipped to just 3 times per week over the past few months.

Unfortunately, everybody else is going to be doing this (for a few weeks anyway) so the Gym will be super-busy.

I could definitely be in better shape. I'm blessed with a good metabolism, but I know that down the line it won't always be the case. Might as well develop some good exercise habits beforehand.

I also need to cut down on the swearing.

Why not?

I'm going to court and marry the woman every other woman I've met is terrified of--terrified of her sweeping me off my feet. Hey, it's bound to happen, right? ;)

Of course, I don't even know if I like her, or vice-versa, but, why not?

Keep a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher (can't lose that scholarship)
Gain my lost friendships (I was an ******* to them last year)
Become treasurer for my fraternity (Fall 2008)
