"Official" Carrier Logos

Just wanted to make a post here offering to share these. These are for the iPhone 4 only. For now I only have UK ones, but I'm happy to add other logos to this post if it proves popular enough.

You just need to be jailbroken to use these with SSH access. No winterboard or any other theming tools required. Just SSH to the appropriate directories, then extract the zip files to that location.

I don't do requests, but as I said, if people send me logos I'll be happy to add more.

Yeah they do look good but i'm using an o2 logo that looks better then yours (just saying, no hate).

Try adding some engraved shading to it.
 
Grayburn: Can you post your O2 logo? O2's my main carrier so see that most!

EvanLugh: I haven't made these logo's - I've just found what other people have used and put them together in one place and a bit easier "install".
 
Try these... It's about as far as my artwork will ever go!

been there myself googled so many times with no results I would like to change my logo from boring Orange text too but it just wont happen, I have replaced the files, I tried through winterboard but nothing

andy, good to know it's not just me. This is something i've NEVER been able to do and i'm far from noobie. :eek: When i get back i might dig a bit further to see if i can't get it working. I've seen the Orange one everywhere yet no one says it doesn't work etc - always assumed it was me.
 
@GrayBurn: I know the logo's you use now. I did try them at one point but found them too iPhone-esque. I preferred the colour of the actual O2 logo so stuck with that one I use now. Personal preferences eh?

Those trying to use an Orange logo... I wonder if the fact it's now Orange T-Mobile has anything to do with it? It might be classing itself as a different network somewhere? If I had one of their micro sims I'd be happy to try but I don't even have a normal one to cut down.

under carrier search there are two entries one is Orange and the other is Orange T-Mobile....my iPhone is connecting to Orange not Orange T-Mobile and the current carrier bundle folder takes me to Orange_uk.bundle
 
Can someone make a GOOD T-Mobile one? There is one in Cydia but it looks like absolute garbage.:D

Yeah thats why i liked them as they match up near enough with the signal/3G etc etc.

And they have engraved shading like everything else on the status bar :cool:
 
I still can't get the 3 one to work...never had an issue with O2 so I've just given up....anyone remember the name of that cache clearing jb app? It could be my last hope :rolleyes:

edit - iWipe Cache made no odds....yawn :(

i cant seem to get this to work on my verizon iphone. its unstable and conflicts with other tweaks/apps

I'm on 4.3.1 and a new folder was added to the carrier bundles. Path is now;

System/Library/Carrier Bundles/iPhone/YOUR CARRIER BUNDLE

Same image names are used.

Yeah, I too am having problems getting carrier logos to work on my jailbroken iP4 4.3.1.

I am relatively new to all this and I haven't tried SSH-ing into the directories to replace files yet but I tried about 4-5 different options available in Cydia and none of them took.

I even tried the Carrier Name tweak where you change it in settings with simple text and that didn't work...it actually kept the standard carrier name (for me, Telus) and even though I left the time alone, it removed it completely!
