Looks like around $40k for complete camera package (body, lens, batteries, HD monitor, etc.,).

meh, as an editor, I'll be happy with my DVX for a while. But I will welcome anyone bringing in RED footage for me to work with. I'll also welcome all of the updated products from Apple that I will purchase to edit/manipulate RED footage. (looks in wallet) it may be a while...

Looks like I am going to NAB again this year, maybe Apple will have their "Final Cut Extreme" system demoing footage from the RED camera?
